I finally figured out how to let Blogger let me upload photos again. What a long haul that was- one whole week with no new pictures on here! :-) As you can see from the photos I posted today, none of the group fall photo shots that we took last week will be hanging on the wall. Why is it so hard to cooperate for ONE picture? I took about 100 photos of all five of us....you would think ONE of those would have turned out. We really should hang these pictures up....they portray perfectly what are family is like. :-)
I am in absolute awe of how quickly and flawless the Chilean miners emerged from their home 600 meters underground. I sat glued to the TV screen on Tuesday night as I watched the tearful reunion's of the first 5 miners. It was so exciting to see the elation of the miners as they came up, and I could feel the excitement through the TV. I cannot even imagine how much joy was resounding at the scene. What an amazing feat of technology...and God's goodness and faithfulness.
Our Thanksgiving was wonderful! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, so I can't show what we ate or did. :-) We spent the day enjoying the beautiful weather outside, ate Turkey, {of course!}, and ended the day by going to the hot springs one last time. They closed on Monday and won't reopen until next May. Can you even believe it is already the middle of October? It seemed like yesterday we were lamenting the start of school....and now we are already 6 weeks into it. Crazy!
I switched a few things around here and got rid of the ugly white border that surrounded all my pictures. Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief.....I am sure it got on your nerves just as much as it got on mine. :-)
Have a wonderful, God-filled day!
Seriously, this whole year is going by so fast! Time never slows down...
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! There are six of us and it is next to impossible to get a good picture of everyone!
